Today is the day!! Our Christmas gift contest is over!!

^{I can't even explain how fun this has been for us.  All of the comments are wonderful.  It was difficult to choose so we decided to give out 4 different prizes.  Because we only planned on one winner, we ran out of the stocking patterns.  We will substitute a pincushion pattern and the fabric to make it for two of the prizes along with the reindeer.  Hope that is alright.}

Christmas is coming and I am so excited!!  There are many inspiring stories out there about Christmas.  We wanted to hear some of your most memorable Christmas gift stories, and of course a FREEBIE is long overdue.  We will be giving away 2 patterns and the fabric to make them for the best comment on Christmas gifts.

MY COMMENT:

I have a friend who has made "dress up boxes" for her granddaughters.  It has been quite a project because she has 23 of them and somewhere in there is a set of quadruplets and all four of them are girls.  I am sure that these little girls will always have fond memories of their grandmother that put together this wonderful gift.  They could add to it from time to time and then pass it on to their children and generations could enjoy the fun!!. 

I, on the other hand, have not been quite so ambitious.  I have put together one box that I keep at my home.  When the kids come to visit they are always finding exciting apparel to dress in and play with.

     

Here is Indie.  She has been playing for the longest time in that box.   We have hats and gloves and high heel shoes and tutu's and princess clothes galore.

Your comment can be anything you want about a Christmas gift that is meaningful to you.  It can be an expensive gift or not expensive, something that was  given to you or something that you have given.  It can be a gift that you have heard about that inspired you.
